Day-in-the-Life
Behavior Technician: As a Behavior Technician (BT), you’ll work one-on-one with children to provide ABA therapy in various settings, helping them build new skills and reach their goals. You’ll follow a customized plan created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using fun and effective teaching strategies. It’s a meaningful role where you’ll make a real difference in a child’s life, session by session. No experience yet? Don’t worry—we provide paid training to get you started!
Program Manager : As a Program Manager, you’ll play a vital role in guiding client progress and supporting the next generation of ABA professionals. Working under the supervision of a BCBA, you’ll oversee treatment programs, mentor Behavior Technicians, provide parent education, and ensure data-driven progress for every client. This role is designed for aspiring BCBAs who want hands-on leadership experience and a clear path toward certification. The Program Manager role is also commonly referred to as Program Coordinator, Case Manager, Behavior Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, Program Supervisor, or Student Analyst, depending on the organization.
The Role: Rewards & Challenges
We’ve listened, and we’re taking action. Client cancellations still happen, and we know not every day is easy.
To reduce variability, ALP is piloting a guaranteed minimum daily work hours program in select locations, giving BTs alternative work options during client cancellations or while awaiting case reassignment. We’re continuing to improve, and what we can promise is that the work matters, the team has your back, and the path forward is real.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
ALP is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Our cumulative experience is the most valuable asset we have. The individual world views, knowledge, self-expression, and unique talents of our team are reflective of our culture and collective achievements.
