What is Fieldwise?
Fieldwise is a fieldwork hours tracking and compliance system for BCBA trainees, their supervisors, and the universities and ABA centers that run fieldwork. Trainees log hours, every monthly BACB requirement is checked as they go, and each month’s official verification form is filled in and signed online.
Is Fieldwise free?
Yes. Logging hours, every monthly requirement check, your progress toward the total, importing from Ripley, and viewing and downloading your filled official BACB monthly verification forms are free, with no ads. Pro is $3.99 a month and adds sending forms to your supervisor for e-signature, sealed signed copies and compliance alerts. The first 100 Pioneers can pay $99.99 once for Pro for life.
Which verification form will I get?
The official BACB Monthly Fieldwork Verification Form that fits your month. One supervisor at an organization gets the Individual Supervisor form. Several supervisors at the same organization get one Multiple Supervisors at One Organization form signed by the responsible supervisor, or, if you prefer, an Individual form with each supervisor; the BCBA Handbook allows either. Each comes in the 2022 or 2027 version, matching the requirements you apply under.
Does Fieldwise support the 2027 BACB requirements?
Yes. Pick when you plan to apply and every month is checked against the matching rules: under the 2027 requirements, 20 to 160 hours a month, 5% supervision (7.5% for Concentrated) and 60 or 90 minutes of client observation. The 2027 forms record hours and observation in hours and minutes, which Fieldwise fills for you.
Can I bring my hours from Ripley?
Yes. On a computer, a one-click bookmark reads every month from your own signed-in Ripley tab and hands it to Fieldwise. Fieldwise never asks for your Ripley password. On a phone, copy a month page and paste it. Each month is checked against the totals Ripley shows before you import.
Does my supervisor need an account?
No. Your supervisor gets an email link, confirms with a one-time code, reviews the official form and signs on any device. Supervisors who do sign in see every form waiting for them in one place.
How does Fieldwise handle concentrated fieldwork?
Each month can be Supervised or Concentrated. Concentrated hours are weighted ×1.33 toward the 2,000-hour total, as the BCBA Handbook describes for mixing fieldwork types. Forms record the actual hours, not the weighted ones.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Sessions save on your phone first and sync to your other devices when you reconnect.
Is Fieldwise affiliated with the BACB?
